It’s the blog’s birthday!
Well it’s officially been a year since I started this website and what a journey it has been. There’s not much to cover that I haven’t already repeated in my 2018 year review but I’m just so happy to see so many people enjoying my content as well as using it to improve their skills with Warhammer Underworlds.
Since last year I’ve won numerous tournaments, accumulated 20 Shadeglass trophies, written 99 articles (including this) and gathered a huge international audience. All of this makes continued writing for the blog all that much easier. So I thought why not do something a bit special for the birthday.
From today I’ll be running a simple competition. For my UK readers just simply like and comment on the article on your chosen format (WordPress or Facebook) or simply like the Twitter post as well as be a follower and I’ll enter you into a random draw to receive the Forbidden Chambers Nightvault board pack. All for free! If you already have the board pack then I’ll think of something else such as the Shattered City board pack or a warband etc.
For international readers just simply do the same as above but instead you’ll receive a free commissioned portrait done by friend and website designer Jon Scrivens. He’s got a long background in comics as well as commissions, check out his work here. Jon does a lot of Warhammer related artwork so if you’ve ever wanted yourself styled like a particular warband fighter or Warhammer hero, then he’s your man.
The competition will run for about 2 weeks so there’s no rush. It’s not much but it’s just another way for me to give back to the fanbase. You’ve all been truly amazing and it means so much to hear from you people all the time. You’re all what helps keeps this crit-machine going.
The last year has been amazing and I can’t wait to bring you all the juicy content I’ve been working on for the coming year. If you thought what I’ve done so far is great, what’s to come will be even better. The future’s bright but always remember to ask yourself mid-game: can you roll a crit?
