Stats Disclaimer

Once again the standard caveats apply for the stats. All collated from BCP (Best Coast Pairings). If you don’t use BCP, just contact us with the details and we can add them in! Big thanks, as always, goes to my new stat man Smiles, Lies, Gunfire who’s collated all the data and who this wouldn’t be possible without! Remember, if you share the stats and images, just remember to credit him and me as it helps us both out.

As for other data, we also rank draws as 0.5 instead of a 0 or a 1.

Also if you are a TO who is hiding teams and final results in BCP, please make it all public after the event is completed. Hidden events make it harder to track as we effectively have to manually check the event to ensure it’s all correct.

April 2024 Stats

For April, Fellgor remain top dogs at 60%, showing they really felt the pain from their nerf last month. Blooded and Warp Coven make new appearances at 57%, both being joined by Mandrakes at 57% from 2 weeks of games which is totally fine. Justian also scrape in at 55% but with a very low usage rate. Intercession land in at 44%, with Kasrkin at 42%, Scouts down to 41% and Exaction at 40%.

Outside of that, we actually have a wider range of factions now hitting the 55% to 45% range of healthiness, with even Kroot at 50%! Void-Dancer Troupe are at 49%, finally down from their streak of 60% winrates but doing far better than everyone predicted.

For overall placement data, Fellgor remain the best performing faction with 9 event wins, followed by Hierotek at 8, and then joint HotA with Pathfinders at 4 event wins. Kommandos show slightly less dominance but Hierotek closely match Fellgor for overall performance. Most factions were able to win an event this month, with even Exaction managing to pull an event win.

For GT+ results, Mandrakes top-out at 67% although with a low usage of 35 games. Still, very impressive for effectively only 2 weeks of data. Blooded jump up to 62%, Novitiates rise to 59% with Warp Coven, Kroot suddenly appear at 59% too, HotA at 58%, Hunter Clade at 56%, and then Nemesis Claw settling at 55%. Quite the wide range of over-performing kill teams.

Under-performing teams include: Legionary at 44%, Breachers at 44%, Exactioon at 43%, Hearthkyn down to 40%, Scouts at 40%, and Intercession at 40%.

When looking at placement data for GT+, we can see the number of event wins thin out. Mandrakes win 2 events along with Kasrkin and Kommandos. The Orks do much better in GT+ than when compared to overall results. Blooded also only have 1 event win despite their very high winrate.

For GT Long results, it becomes even more warping but this is to be expected as events with 5+ rounds and 30+ players is a much smaller sample size. Blooded continue to dominate at 67%, Fellgor at 66%, Warpcoven at 65%, Vet Guard at 65%, Inquisitorial Agents at 62%, Novitiates at 60%, Hunter Clade at 59%, and Kroot at 56%.

We also have way more under-performing teams with: Legionary are 43%, Exaction 43%, Wyrmblade 43%, Scouts 41%, Hearthkyn 39%, Kasrkin 38%, Intercession 35%, Chaos Cult 33%.

We have not included data for Nemesis Claw and Mandrakes here as there’s just not enough data but this should be rectified for May.

For GT Long placement data, only Fellgor, Inquisition, Kommandos and Pathfinders actually win an event in this format. Blooded have really good results here but have no event wins. Fellgor maintain their dominance here though.

Here is the April performance chart, averaging all stats together to perform an interesting average. Fellgor remain the best faction to pick to win an event, while Blooded become the faction most likely to place highly at tournaments. Kasrkin have good placement data but with a poor winrate while Scouts and Intercession continue to decline together.

April 2024 Stats Overview

Overall April has been a better month with general performance as more factions sit in the healthy range. Fellgor unfortunately still dominate, almost seeing no change in results despite their recent nerfs. However, Hunter Clade, Warpcoven, Blooded and Kroot have an amazing April. Only time will tell if they can maintain this performance. Mandrakes also burst in with worryingly broken results despite only 2 weeks of data, whereas Nemesis Claw still come in strong but with a more balanced end.

Scouts drop off, while Intercession do badly with the usual suspects of Exaction and oddly Breachers. Vet Guard seem almost unchanged, continuing to do amazingly well in GT Long formats. Void-Dancer Troupe also do well despite their nerfs with finally reaching a balanced winrate and winning 2 events in April, perhaps showing they’re not as dead as people originally thought.

Still, May will be the full test as we will have even more events along with a full month for both Kill Team Nightmare factions to see how powerful both new kill teams really are!

But that’s pretty much it for now. Thanks to my new stats Smiles, Lies, Gunfire and let me know what you thought of the stats! What would you like us to improve upon etc.

Remember to also check out my Discord as well as my Patreon too if you want to give me some more support!

So until next time, no matter what the stats say, remember you can always win as long as you can roll a crit!
