Back with the stats show for Kill Team!
Welcome to today’s Warhammer 40000 Kill Team article where I cover the global May 2024 and Quarter 2 tournament stats! I go over all the tournaments for the month from Kill Team events small and large as well as all the data since the last balance dataslate! Check out to see all the Maydata as well as what could be buffed or nerfed in the upcoming June balance dataslate!

Stats Disclaimer
Once again the standard caveats apply for the stats. All collated from BCP (Best Coast Pairings). If you don’t use BCP, just contact us with the details and we can add them in! Big thanks, as always, goes to my new stat man Smiles, Lies, Gunfire who’s collated all the data and who this wouldn’t be possible without! Remember, if you share the stats and images, just remember to credit him and me as it helps us both out.
As for other data, we also rank draws as 0.5 instead of a 0 or a 1.
Also if you are a TO who is hiding teams and final results in BCP, please make it all public after the event is completed. Hidden events make it harder to track as we effectively have to manually check the event to ensure it’s all correct.
May 2024 Stats
Void-Dancers shoot up but with only 19 games, become unreliable. We have also excluded factions with less than 10 games which is why less show up in May. Gellerpox, HotA, and Wyrmblade all hit 58%, while Pathfinders, Hierotek, and Blooded are at 57%, with Inquisitorial Agents at 56%. On the low end we have Blades of Khaine at 44%, Intercession at 43%, Kroot at 43%, Justian at 43%, Kasrkin at 42%, and Scouts at 41%.
Here’s all the placement data for May. It covers how many times each faction won event, went 3:1 or better, if they podium’d, and if they placed in the top percentage of events.
For GT+ Wyrmblade shoot up to 68%, Inq at 67%, Gellerpox at 64%, Chaos Cult at 63%, Pathfinders 60%, Hierotek 59%, Exaction at 57%, and Phobos at 57%. For under-performers we have Breachers at 43%, Vet Guard at 42%, Blades at 41%, Intercession at 40%, Kasrkin at 39%, Scouts at 36%, Kroot at 35%.
For GT Long winratres, Gellerpox shoot up to 71%, Inq at 68%, Exaction at 64%, Pathfinders at 61%, Hearthkyn at 60%, Corsairs at 60%, Hierotek at 59%, Wyrmblade at 58%, and Starstriders at 56%. Under-performers are Legionary at 44%, Kommandos at 42%, Novitiates at 38%, Kroot at 35%, Hunter Clade at 33%, and Intercession at 31%.
And here is the overall performance data for May, combining all the stats to show a combined average of how factions are doing.
Q2 Data
For the overall Q2 data, Wyrmblade are at 56% along with Blooded, Fellgor, and Gellerpox. For under-performing teams we have Kasrkin at 42% and Scouts at 41%.
Here is all the podium and placement data for Q2.
For GT+ Gellerpox are at 59%, Wyrmblade are at 58%, Warpcoven 57%, Chaos Cult 57%, Inquisition at 57%, Blooded at 56%, and Troupe at 56%. For under-performing teams Legionjary at 44%, Intercession at 40%, and Scouts at 40%.
For GT Long winrates, Inquisition are at 65%, Blooded at 61%, Gellerpox at 61%, Fellgor at 56%, and Pathfinders at 56%. For the other side we have Kroot at 44%, Legionary at 44%, Scouts at 41%, Kasrkin at 38%, and Intercession at 34%.
And here is the overall performance data for Q2, combining all the stats to show a combined average of how factions are doing.
May and Q2 2024 Stats Overview
Overall, it’s a bit more brief this time as there’s a lot to cover and I show it all in my review video. Still, we’ve seen some interesting trends. May stats are more variable, especially with the huge swing to Nemesis Claw and Mandrakes, but things balance out overall with the Q2 stats as we have very few teams who are both over and under performing. As always, GT+ and GT Long show very interesting results with teams like Inquisition rising up to be a problem. Gellerpox over-perform along with Wyrmblade and Blooded. Scouts and Kasrkin continue to perform badly, which is a huge shame for Scouts who spend almost 6 months underperforming. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the end of June with the next balance dataslate.
