ETC 2019

International play for Warhammer Underworlds.

The ETC (European Team Championship) 2019 will be happening this year at Serbia from August 7th to the 11th. For the first time a Warhammer Underworlds ETC tournament is being planned! Currently waiting approval by the ETC body, it spells exciting times for competitive players the world over.

To keep it brief they plan to host a standard singles tournament as well as a huge 2 day (player numbers dependant) TEAM tournament! The best thing is that involves teams of 5 players that all need to have unique warbands. As you may know I really enjoyed the UK Team Championship 2018 (UKTC) so I’m excited for another one that will hopefully have huge appeal!

Also for the first year each country will be allowed to send multiple teams so there’s no need to worry about which country sends who. All you need are 5 mates and a lot of crits. I already have my team assembled but we’re just waiting for the event to be fully confirmed.

The reason I’m posting about this now is to drum up interest and support. Team play is super fun with Warhammer Underworlds and it’d be great to see teams from all over the world to fight it out for the supreme Shadeglass champions. So speak to your friends and get those teams ready!

For those itching for some Underworlds Grand Clash action, there’s the Warhammer World Grand Clash next Saturday (which I’ll be attending). To top it off, every game will be streamed by Wade Pryce and Nick Bayton on Warhammer TV! It’s gonna to be a blast. Of crits.
