It’s (not) the end of the world.
I’m going on holiday for 3 weeks (woo!) to a place with basically no internet connections so there will be no more articles for a while.
In the meantime though, feel free to check out my back catalogue of articles during this time period. A few of my favourites are:
Warband Deconstruction Series: Offensive Steelheart’s (Part 3 has all the links)
But that’s not all! Instead of just getting other people to post on here while I’m away, check out the blogs and podcasts I follow/read that are all about Warhammer Underworlds! They’re all run by great people who deserve a look if you haven’t already. These are:
Katophrane Relic – A blog by Jamie, a good friend of mine. His tactical insights of the game and his analytical competitive progress of his Shadespire career is the best around, just don’t tell him that 😂
Hex Appeal – Run by another good friend of mine. Not as active anymore but his posts are still a good read.
Rob Goes Shadespire – A man after my own heart with his blog all about Skaven
Steel City Shadespire – Done as a collaboration by players up in Sheffield. They’re a great lot who I’ve played against and give a unique twist on Underworlds blogging. Refreshing and interesting reads!
No Rerolls – A blog that touches upon Shadespire as well as other tabletop miniatures games.
Start Your Meeples – An amazing board game blog. He’s just started out with Shadespire but all his articles are some of the best I’ve read. Well-researched, fun and informative
Claim the City – The best Underworlds podcast around.
The Honest Wargamer – While we have only done 2 podcasts together (the 3rd was lost to the warp sadly), Rob also does a lot of stuff about 40k and Age of Sigmar if you’re interested.
I didn’t include any YouTube stuff because I don’t watch any Underworlds content on YouTube, mainly because I don’t have the time to sadly.
Honestly it will be a nice break as writing 2 to 3 articles a week gets very tough at times, especially with work. The hiatus may last a bit longer but I doubt it as I already have a lot of ideas for new articles. The rest may even help me with the ability to roll a larger number of crits.
